Indonesia Sends 34 Nurses to Dubai

A total of 34 Indonesian nurses Indonesia are currently in the preparation process for working in a leading private hospital in Dubai, Belhoul Specialty Hospital. They consists of 7 midwife nurses, 5 intensive care unit (ICU) nurses, 7 patient nurses, 9 outpatient clinics nurses, and 6 home care unit nurses.

Indonesian Consulate General in Dubai, Mansyur expressed his full support to Belhoul Specialty Hospital trust in hiring 34 Indonesian nurses for this early stage. "There is big possibility that more Indonesian nurses will be employed in the future," said Mansyur.

Mansyur said, Belhoul Group trust is one indicator that Indonesian professional workers quality is getting international acknowledgement and have more competitiveness in the international labor market.

According to Mansyur, they are observing the opportunity for Indonesian nurses to work in other hospitals in Dubai. Belhoul Lifecare plans to open new branches in the Belhoul Jebel Ali Free Zone hospital district, Dubai.

The hospital which will start operating in March 2012 require hundreds of medical personnel, staffs and nurses. Some of them are from Indonesia.

Currently, Belhoul Lifecare hospital has two hospitals in Dubai, the Belhoul European Hospital, which employs 80 staffs and Belhoul Specialty Hospital with 450 staffs.

So far, Belhoul Specialty Hospital is dominated by nurses from India and the Philippines, and never hires Indonesian nurses.
