"There are still some minor dynamics. But it is within reasonable limits and under control," said Marciano Norman at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, on Friday.

According to him, a number of incidents that occurred during OPM anniversary celebration on Thursday (1 / 12) can be solved.

The OPM anniversary celebration, said Marciano, takes place as normal. That's according to the advanced estimation and expectations of some parties.

According to him, the good cooperation between authorities and local residents resulted in the good results.

"So once again, Coordinating Minister for Politics (Djoko Suyanto) said that the nation appreciate the people of Papua who have participated to keep the December 1 activities under controlled," he said.

At the OPM anniversary celebration, two police officers became persecution victims.

Two members of the RI State Police were attacked and shot with arrows by gunmen at 1:00 am WIT in Jayapura, Papua, on Thursday (1 / 12). "That was this morning at around 01:00 WIT, when two of our members namely Bripka Dian Budi Santosa, Kanit Intelkam Polsek Nimbokrang and Ridwan Bripda Napitupulu of Jayapura Police Force performed the checking," said Head of Public Relations Division of Polri, Inspector General of Police Saud Usman Nasution in Jakarta, not long after the incident.
